Chuck's Bio
Chuck is a 27 year veteran in the beauty industry. He studied under
the leadership of the late Olive Lee Benson of Boston MA. He has
educated for some of the industry's leading hair companies in his
earlier years as a platform artist. Since becoming an educator he
has taught at nearly every major trade show in the country. He
has taught for Pivot Point International as honorary instuctor on
Multicultural Hair Design. He has written for many magazines. Hair
stylists from around the nation come to train under this master in
his suburban set salon located in Richmond, VA. Chuck traveled
to Johannesburg, South Africa to teach for Procter & Gamble and
manage their hair academy. He wrote the curriculum for the
academy, trained stylists around South Africa and tested products
for the company. He also trained stylists in other parts of Europe
on his award winning haircutting techiques. Stylists have now sought
him from South America for his unique style of teaching. He helped
Procter & Gamble develop their first black hair care product.
Chuck is the author of two books: Coloring Chemically Relaxed Hair which was published in 2005 and his newly published book entitled:
The Science Of Healthy Hair which was released in July 2007. He has a new book to be released in early 2012. To learn
